Photographer's Note
The Santa Maria delle Grazie was a Gothic church , but became one of Milan's most important Renassaince buildings, because of it's special Dome.
The chruch belongs to a Dominicanconvent, where Leonardo da Vinci painted his Last Supper,that you can see only with an appointment today, also because of the Da vinci Code of course.
From the internal yard you have a wonderful view at the Dome.
I have choosen for a picture of the inside of the church, beautiful decorated in Renassaince-style. The whole church itself is worth visiting, inside and outside.

Ongelooflijk mooie koepel, Albrecht, echt kunstwerk. Zeer goed weergegeven met goede belichting en prachtig van kleur. Zoals je zegt, je zou er eindeloos blijven naar kijken.

Hi Albrecht, very nice picture of this beautifully delicate decorated columns and roof. they have used very nice and soft colors. Can you imagine that they would make a masterpiece like that in these days?
