Photographer's Note

These days were terrifiant hot in North Italy.
As in the last 5, 6 years the summer season is arrived some weeks before and temperature in the Pianura Padana are highest of also 6, 7° than the normal average of the period.
35° during the day and 27, 28 in the night are the normal situation in Milan, then there is the terrifiant humidity that give us a real temperature higher than 35° and closest to the 40° or more.
In the last years we arrived at level around 44, 45° of real temperature in July and August.
This is one of the reason why Milan is a city that is totally closed and empty in the summer season and more than 2/3 of the population go away.
From the beginnings of May every week-end the city lost an half million of inahbitants that search refugee at Ligurian and Cote d'Azur sea, lakes district and Alps.
That crazy situtation will end just at the beginnings of October or in the late September, when normally the temperature and the humidity (and the mosquitos!) in Milan will be at normal levels.

This is the reason why i didn't had time for TE in the last week-ends!
we were part of the half million that ran away from the city to find fresh and unpolluted air.

This is a view of the Piani di Vodala the plateau at 1.800 meters where there is the ski area of Spiazzi di Gromo.
I took that image just 3 months ago, when there was still one meters of snow, fresh, fresh air, few degrees minus than zero....a REAL PARADISE....
