An awesome shot David. I think when presented with a potential image like this you are almost compelled to get the most out of it, and in your case you certainly captured what you needed to. I'm not sure whether you've got vignetting here or if it's just shadowing at the corners, but it works because it lessens the square nature of the presentation and so suits the subject.
The only things that I find somewhat disappointing are the lack of sharpness and the fact that the bottom bannister is cut off. With an indoor shot you probably had no choice but to use f/4. Maybe some sharpness could be recovered in post-processing? It would be great to see some more detail in the reliefs.

A great shot of the vamous staircase, David. I am amazed you managed to shoot it so bereft of people, while managing one lone figure in the bottom to enhance the shot tremendously. Very nice work, both by Momo and you!

Your pictures are very artistic. They contains lines and shapes that lead the eyes to explore every image and combine them to see the entire scene being projected. I like the way you captured this circular stairwell. It looks like an eye looking at the people looking at the picture. The different layers of the stairs leading the viewer deep into the image and the lonely figure in the middle the reflected image of the person outside the picture. Thanks for sharing David.
