Photographer's Note

Amalfi is the more ancient among the four italian Maritime Republics (others were Genoa, Venice and Pisa): founded in 840, this commercial town lived its best moment during Eleventh century, when Mediterranean shipping was ruled by “Amalfi Tables”, the oldest shipping code in the world.
Now Amalfi is a beautiful town always crowded by tourists, center of the famous coast called “Costiera Amalfitana”.
This shot was taken after the sunset from a dock.
