It mins "The day of the big wind is not time to
be doing the tatching." I think it's very smart and very Irish - relaxe, wait for good conditions :-)
Tatchet cottages are a fantastic part of Irish tradition. So they are very interesting atraction
not just for tourist. In Ireland you can see real traditional tatched cottages, copies of this cottages, modern houses with tatched roofs, and old cottages now without tatched roofs. What do you thing? Is this the orginal tatched cottage? I think it is.
This photo was taken on the road between Ballysodare and Templeboy.

This is nice Marta. The symetry works great in this shot and it's easy to see thatch work in the image. This speaks well for your focus and DOF. I alos like the close crop to focus ones attention on the details of the house.

Hi, Marta. A crisp picture of a traditional Irish cottage. I like the red door and nicely decorated windows which come out very well on the white walls. The composition is very classical, but I think it suits this kind of building quite well.

Très jolie photo. L'exposition est bien maitrisée et cela ne devait pas être évident avec ce mur blanc. Le cadrage met en valeur la symétrie. Bravo !

Looks nice Marta. You have really captured the feel of the cottage here. The colour used in the cottage really is brought forward from the white walls. well done
