Photographer's Note

The Hallgrimkirkja church in Reykjavik is situated at the highest point in the city.

Its design was created in 1920s and caused a lot of contradictions, just like Eiffel tower in its time, because many people hated the minimalism of the building. Now, however, it's the true symbol of Reykjavik and the best (and only :) observation facility -- inside the church, there is an elevator which brings you to a viewing platform on top.

Notes: I decided not to change lenses distortion in Photoshop, leaving as it was. In my opinion, it brings even some special visual effect in that case.

Small 'garbage' in the air near the belltower is acutally a Sesna-like observation plane, which are flying in hordes, entertaining toursits. Again, I decided not to remove it to make the photo less plastic and more 'alive' :)
