Photographer's Note

These very brightly painted houses in the centre of Reykjavik were photographed under the very strange low light of late November when there was only 4 hours of daylight each day.

I took this photo from the viewing deck inside the steeple of Hallgrim's Church. The steeple at 74 metres rises above all other buildings in Reykjavik and I am including a photo of this rather striking building in a workshop.
