Photographer's Note
Selfoss waterfall in the north of Iceland... this shot was taken on a windy midday. I was intrigued by the low hanging clouds, which together with the shorter exposure time (no nicely flowing waterfalls here) I believe make for an altogether harsh and threatening atmosphere. That's what I tried to bring out in the b/w conversion.

I was scanning through photos of waterfalls in Iceland and this capture really stands out, I love the dark, threatening image that gives off a real sense of power, and a brilliant name for the photo, great work, thx.
