Hi Mik,
Greek island are allways quite colorfull and vivid; but here it's a little bit different. Here there are not onlu typical colors like white and blue, but almost all the shades of a rainbow !
Very good pov and amazizng compo.
Perfect effect.

I like this POV on the different houses which are all close and gathered.
I like these soft tones and the sense of pleasant chaos...the sense of losing oneself into the tangle of narrow roads among these buildings

this is the most unusual shot I've seen from santorini. for one thing, it's full of colours. your cadrage is cluttered instead of the minimalist approach we are used to seeing most of the time. it brings a fresh breath to santorini photos here.

Hello Mik_Eo :) You have an exciting vacation collection and this one not only hit my eyes but many before me. I have been to Santorini years ago and we did some island hopping with no plans whatsoever and I might do that again, the best way to discover these islands. The architecture is amazing and I wonder how you find your house again but maybe this is why they paint it red or blue, yellow or orange. I have seen so many different photos from this place and again it is amazing that none of them looks like yours and the other way around. Fantastic post, it really is. Best regards ... Barbara.

beautiful shot this is with all these saturated colours... but this is not "Fira" mik... this is "Oia" village on the northern tip of the island (fira is the capitol village centrally located on the caldera)... been there 3 years ago for honeymoon and fell in love with the place... very nice my friend, my compliments...

This one is Oia's slightly usual sight, in a closed very interesting angle and that shows us a collage of the magnificent traditional architecture of the Greek islands, but also it us demonstrates that not only the white and the blue reign there. These brushstrokes of pink, ocher and other tones, they add an amazing aspect to an image known in the whole world.

really a great place and often to be seen at TE and other communities; i like your pov, but sorry the colors are for my one opinion a little bit to strong, i´ve seen many pictures from there, even day or night and in all kind of daytime, they are a bit to strong..forgive me and don´t be angry..i like your way of taking pictures..

No nie przypomina to fragmentu realnego miasta. To wyglada jak miniaturka wykonana z marcepanu. Nawet kolorystyka i faktura odpowiada takiemu za³o¿eniu. ¦wietna ta kubiczna mieszanina soczystych kolorów, bardzo ³adnie odwzorowane odcienie bieli.

Mik, not sure how I have been here so long and missed your work, this is a fantastic shot and much of your gallery looks equally interesting. The typical shots from Santorini are all white and shades there of but this one is magical in its colors, well seen and wonderfully presented.
