The Mediterranean winter at its best! Very beautiful and excellent framed postcard shot of the Argolian Gulf. The careful and well applied HDR generated perfect light and colours.

Nafplio is one of the most beautiful greek towns and one of the most photographed places in Greece, but your photo trully makes the diference! Excellent and unusual framing and composition, beautiful wide angle feeling and perfect light managment, with impressive colours! The sky and the blue tones are breathtaking. Hello Marija,
the view is amazing but what really impressed me a lot is the fact this is a HDR!! and the finalt result is stunning! The whole lot looks so "natural" and not plasticy like the most of the HDR I've seen so far! Great tecnique indeed.
The predominant blue tone of the compo is beautiful to look at with that deep blue sky well reflecting on the water. The boat is well placed and leads the eye to the horizon giving a great feeling of space and creating a beautiful dof.

Hi Marija!

This is a gorgeous landscape in the most beautiful blue shade. The boat is brilliantly placed to guide our eyes straight into the image. The white of the clouds and boat complement perfectly the the dominant of the image to make it more Greek!

Your photo is the best example of an intelligent and unnoticeable HDR intervention, as everything looks perfectly credible.

Hi Marija,
An image that has superb depth and even 3D feeling thanks to these nice clouds and their reflection, there seems to be a big building in the far end but at this TE size we can't really see what it is. I fully agree with André that the best use of HDR is when the viewer can't tell it was used, it would be interesting to see the original image to compare and appreciate the effect, maybe you can post it as a WS ?

Hi Marija,
i like the way that the blue of the sea is mixed with the blue of the sky. I also like the composition and that you have placed the small fortress,named Boutzi, in the centre of the image.

Hello Marija,
A most appealing scene. Wouldn't think it was winter. Composition with off-center boat and the crop on the left is very effective. I like also the clouds and the spot of red. This is a very rare occurrence when the HDR treatment is not noticeable. The improvement is great but I wonder if you couldn't obtain the same result by other PP means (e.g. curves, highlight/shadow adjustment). Regards,

Amazing HDR image, which doesn't even look like HDR, with beautiful blue tones and lovely composition. Those little flashes of red make this photo work really well. Marvellous luminosity and great depth. Well done.

Hi Maya,
Fantastic feeling of space given by this sky and its reflection in the sea.
Mountains are perfectly net and seem nevertheless so distant.
I like the boat but I do not know if it was necessary so much the landscape is beautiful and is self-sufficient in itself. I am happy to find your gallery today, I had already commented on photos but I had not noted your name and I did not find you any more.

Hello Marija, the bright blue really stands out, it is wonderful.

looking at the jpeg version the result you got here is amazing marija... the blue tones and all the reflections are very appealing to the eye... and the red touch added a lot to the charm i think... congrats...

Beautiful! So crystalline... The composition is perfect, with that emerging white boat on the right. The reflection is amazing. So much blue to immerse on... The mountains in the back are great and lend a great sense of depth. A real infinite dof here. You say HDR, but it really doesn't look like one. Which HDR tool did you use? It's perfect!

I cant believe the difference between this version and the workshop, wooow, how much time did this take u away? I've never tried HDR, I recently started shooting RAW, probably that's the right way. SO i dont know anything about HDR and I cant write a decent critique here, all I can say is that I love the sharpness, the clarity and the centerized object in the distance. Are u satisfied with your Tokina lens?

simply amazing...I have never tried HDR and I think in some shots it's a must, considering the jpg version. Here the depth is impressive and the presence of red compliments the blue/white nicely. Very well done.

Charming calm image. Very nice saturation, contrast and colours. Good placement of the boat, although I would like it more if it was included fully, I guess. Maybe some more distance would do the job for that! Otherwise fine presentation and good HDR work, not overdone at all, wish I like too.

wonderful picture. First of all it has amazing POV with a window opening into a wide space.....the spalsh of some colors here and there is fantastic. Sky and clouds look great and depth is superb.

Post-processing was very successfully applied to a technicaly correct original photo. Good composition with perfect perspective...

If you didn't mentioned it, I would not notice this photo was processed. I thought you used a polarizing filter.

this is such a great photo, Marija! excellent composition, I like a lot the boat in corner leading the eye towards the clear blue water. the red buoys are a great colour accent, but what amazes me most is that this is HDR - THIS is how that technique should be used, to create a natural-looking scene. superb work, my compliments.

I know, my friend Fulvio will give me extremely HARD time for praising an HDR image, but I like what I see here. love the symmetry, the saturated blues, detail in across the whole spectrum of light. Of course, teh reddish orange spots are the icing on the cake here. And the castle in the background unmistakeably says this is not just a generic greek sea composition from anywhere in the Aegean. This is NAFPLIO! :)) Well done!
