Photographer's Note
Iolkos – Holkos – Golos – Volos : The different names of my hometown since antiquity. According to the Mythology Iolkos was the native town of Jason, where he built his boat Argo, and after gathering the heroes of his time, he set out in search of the Golden Fleece to Kolchis (Aia), nowadays on the Georgian coast of the Black Sea. Thank you Andrea (doubay)
In his memory, my town has put up the bronze statue you can see in the photo in front of the entrance to our port. A great attempt was made a couple of years ago and they built a replica of the Argo, using the same pine from Mount Pilio, without any metal nails or other modern means, just the same way that Argo was made. In the WS I have included two photos. One of the modern replica, and one from the shipyard while it was being made. For more information look at:

The photo was changed into B/W and then introduced some sepia tones to enhance the effect. Hope you like it!

Ok, first the technical criticism. The noise correction is really obvious creating just larger, blurrier noise. Turn off your in camera noise removal. With a small sensor some noise is to be expected even at low ISO when shooting into bright light, but Photoshop or Lightroom will do a better job removing the noise than your camera will. That suggestion aside, this composition is absolutely fantastic. It brings to mind legends of Vikings sailing off the edge of the world to reach the Rainbow Bridge to Valhalla. Keep up the good work. p.s. This might be really cool in B&W.

έγραψες με αυτή την έμπνευση που είχες να τραβήξεις την Αργό κόντρα στον ουρανό και να δημιουργήσεις αυτό το υπέροχο κομμάτι.Πολλές φορές τελικά βλεπομε πολλά πράγματα αλλά η καθημερινότητα δεν μας αφήνει να δούμε και το 'κάτι άλλο' που τελικά κάνει την διαφορά.Μπράβο σου.
