Photographer's Note
Some people say Santorini may be the location of the lost city of Atlantis, with all its historical volcanic eruptions and a particularly huge one about 3,500 years ago that produced ash hundreds of feet deep. Look at a map of Santorini and you can see how the islands' round shape look like the shape of a volcano.
The original photo was only 400 kb due to a wrong camera setting, so it's quality isn't as good as hoped.

Too bad you had the camera set wrong. You had the makings of a great photograph here. Besides the wrong setting, the foreground is very distracting. If possible in future, try move the camera over the (bush, railing...)_____, so you can get the buildings and the beautiful background. The composition would have been perfect if had been able to do this. Get to know your camera better, so youu do not have these wrong setting problems. Knowing your equipment helps you.

With some corrections, I think that your photo will be better. Nice colors and composition, I like the blur part in the bottom. See workshop.

Hi Dave,
I allready did a workshop for you yesterday, now the critique. Most is covered in the WS though I think. Like a few others I don't like the blurred roof/railing or whatever is in front, in this photo. It occupies quite a lot of the bottom, adds nothing and just disturbs. A second thing I don't like is the noise, but maybe you can't help that.
Well, now let's be positive. I like the composition in this photo, the tower nicely placed at the side of the photo, the boat also not in the middle and everything is well in balance. Colours are fine, just as the sky.
In the WS I also rotated the photo to make the vertical lines of the church real vertical. Further well done.
