Photographer's Note

The place:
Palios Panteleimon is a small ancient
village located 80 miles southerns of
Thessaloniki and on the foothill of
mountain Olympos,the highiest in Greece.
The village is was abadoned and most of
the old houses was throwing down.Last
years many owners restored their houses
and the village born again. It is a very
beautiful and peaceful place,for relaxing
and long walks in the nature.

The poem:
The twilight turns from amethyst
to deep and deeper blue,
the lamp fills with pale green glow.
The old piano plays an air,
Shy thoughts and grave wide eyes and hands
that wander as they list
the twilight turns to darker blue
with lights of amethyst...
