The little chapel that lies in St Paul's Bay in the town of Lindos on the Greek island of Rhodes. A popular wedding venue because of its location; with views across the bay of the white-washed walls of Lindos and also the old Acropolis perched above the blue waters of the bay.

Hello dear Brian, my neighbour today,
Very nice capture from Lindos.
It's the first time that I see a church dedicated to StPaul.
The Greek churches (specially on islands and seshores) are often dedicated to St Nicholas, the patron of seamen.
Very good layout and light.

What an attractive and inviting picture!
Sharpness, exposure, colors, horizontal format, chosen pov and composition are all excellent!
The small chapel, the two boats and the color of those waters are true highlights here!

Hi Brian,
Most interestingly the location of this chapel is fantastic. As you have captured this place from the opposit side,probably from the road of the mountains..I think the view from the front of the chapel would be equally beautiful with water and mountains...

Hello Brian,
A delightful photograph from Greece five years ago at which time your compositional and photographic skills were also excellent!
The little chapel is perfectly placed in the frame, standing out in pure white like a little jewel against the rough dark rocks and dark green trees. The two little boats moored at the water's edge draw our attention to the beautiful clear waters.
Perfectly captured with a fine composition, beautiful light and colours and exceptional details and sharpness.

Bello il contrasto tra il bianco immacolato della chiesetta e il colore cupo e uniforme della roccia circostante.
Composizione ben fatta con la diagonale di rito.

Hi Brian!
I know this spot a short walk from Lindos on Rhodes and had a swim in the bay as well as walked to the cliff overlooking the monastery depicted here. Good sharpness and color. Looks like you were fighting against the strong backlight here. I like the 2 small boats in St Pauls Bay. Tfs!

Dear Brian,
I've just discovered this photo in your gallery. The place is really unique, so peaceful and romantic. The future married couple can arrive here on the small boat with few witnesses. It will be a modest and quiet ceremony.
