Early morning light on the blue domed churches and colourful houses in the village of Oia on the volcanic island of Santorini, Greece. A maze of winding small streets and a multitude of steps; every corner is a picture opportunity.
Apologies for the watermark; some of my images posted on TE have been hi-jacked and are now being used commercially on other websites, without my permission. I am realistic enough to know it is impossible to stop people sharing images on other sites and I have no real issue with that………but to make money from them is another matter.

Good Morning Brian,
On a morning when the sun has forsaken us, it is so pleasing to be reminded of such warmth and colour.
This looks like a wonderful toy town, the houses snuggling close together. You have provided us with an excellent view across the town, the blue domed buildings acting like stepping stones, linking the whole together, and to the distant sea. The dof is perfect, supplying a boundless supply of details.

Oia, Oia! I recognise this place from so many of your previous pictures from your beloved Santorini! It almost seems as though one could stand in just one spot and take myriads of pictures in all directions and each one would be a wonderful spectacle in its own right. But I also rather suspect that the skill of the photographer plays no small part this.
Again you have captured not only the delightful and varied colours of this place but also a lovely atmosphere with the most delicious light. Your composition is excellent too, the houses and their roofs forming a clear diagonal as we climb uphill from bottom left to top right.
Lovely light, gorgeous colours and exquisite details and sharpness.

The tightly packed buildings make for a superb perspective right across the frame with the blue domes making excellent pointers. The vertical format was the perfect choice. The image is very pleasantly lit and benefits from top class colours and clarity.

Fantastic shot of this place. I think this image would make for an excellent jigsaw! I just love the detail and the all the places that your eye can find little things of interest in the image. It has a compressed perspective feel to it too which I like.

il successo delle tue foto è dovuto in gran parte al colore che non manca mai, oltre che alla luce sempre splendida.
Ovvio quindi che un'occasione come questa rappresentata dalle belle tinte di questo paese greco rappresentasse per te un'occasione per coglierne i vari aspetti come sai meglio fare.
Ovviamente il risultato non poteva che essere eccellente: ed è sotto i nostri occhi.

Sorry I've been so slack with TE lately. I'm in Melbourne at the moment, so am not online much. Another stunning Santorini photo. I like the vertical frame, the vibrant colours and geometries. The white bit in the right FG (where you have your name) bothers me a little (not your name :), as it seems to be a little dead space. But this is a minor thing and probably a symptom of my OCD :) Have a lovely Sunday, thanks for sharing.
