Sea turtles are indeed symbol of chance and prosperity in many cultures Chris,
A very endangered species both on earth and in the seas
There is high rate of mortality among the young turtles
and a few number of them come to adult age
Good sharpness, clear shot, fine colors

Ideal composition with this pretty turtle, by cleaning the water we can see under the same ideal that tone blue water and great details of the animal.

In Israel this turtle is considered an endangered specie's, and I can see why - they probably all migrated to the wonderful clear sea-waters in Kafalonia...
Beautiful photo of a magnificent animal.

what a capture! The timing is just perfect. I was trying to take a picture of a similar turtle some time ago but it wasn't too eager to stick its head out of the water so I can't boast of a fine shot like yours:)

I love the stunning colours here!! and the symbol of vitality perhaps. This close up works well my friend, you are smart technically spot on with the composition while we get to enjoy the full view of the creature and solidity in its natural colors. I had no idea you could find sea turtles in Greece ! What a capture ! He seems to be so happy having a swim in the limpid water ! I hope he will live a long life despite all the dangers.
