A family (not tourists but living on Leros for a couple of years now) going down the old street joining Platanos and Ayia Marina.
When I decided to post this picture I asked for and got their permission.

This gives really a very good image of the life and streets in Leros.
You chose the perfect angle this care for depth and perspective.

Not tourists, but also not Greek. That's how it is these days, borders mean less and less unless it's some hot spot with hot headed people. I love the cats- now they're local and blend well with the colours of the buildings.A lovely POV and beautiful ambiance. Best wishes Ourania. Klaudio.

This family probably left their hometown elsewhere and came to live on an island with sunny days and constant sea wind. They probably know to distinct the differences from other places.
Fine down the alley picture, I like the blue and baige colors mingling on the houses. Good clarity and light managed.

The little family group bring an otherwise quiet scene to life and very well included. I like the point of view and the light, which helps bring out the detail in the architecture to good effect.

Hello Ourania,
This is very nice view of the narrow street surrounded by attractive houses and the mountains further back. The family add a degree of charm and intimacy which greatly increases the joy of watching the photo. The colours and clarity are perfect, absolutely not too dark :-). It's a genuinely pleasant picture.

This must be a beautiful place to live, its so clean, and the architecture is beautiful.I love the perspective down the hill, and the view of the mountains beyond. Nice addition to have the family too, showing the life of this lovely place.

Questa foto è molto gradevole perchè permette di entrare nella vità di questa località, tra abitanti del luogo e gatti che li osservano, il tutto in una composizione nella quale domina la semplicità.
E' ammirevole anche la tua percezione della privacy, considerando che la famiglia l'hai ripresa di spalle, ma evidentemente hai una sensibilità diversa da quella corrente ed anche per questo ti faccio i miei complimenti.

Hello Ourania.
I like this narrow lane with the local walking down the old street. If you did not mention, I would have guessed that they are tourists with day-packs on their backs. This is beautiful daily life scene and the place looks clean and peaceful.

This is an expectly exposed back alley for highlights as necessary here and the presence of the obligatory figures at the third have brought some live. There is a lot of detail here which is nicely revealed by a shadow/highlight, as it is it's a backstreet shot of exactly that and I like it~ that's what makes them inherently what they are. Importantly you've captured the right atmosphere that possess a unique character worth exploring and this improves the shot dramatically. The pleasing natural colors blend very well of a very appealing image with special charm. Real cool! Well spotted and presented. Congrats, TFS

Very nice street scene. I value such scenes more than shots of famous sights. The famous sites have been photographed by many and I'm sure I've seen it all. Little corners of the world like this one deserve more publicity.
