Photographer's Note

One of the iconic symbols of Thessaloniki is the Demetrios Church (Hagios) depicted here. I've cloned out the white scratches that were in the red fg pots. Although there were 2 prior churches on this site, dating back to the early 4th century AD, the one seen here essentially dates from 629–634 AD. More information on the church here:
