Photographer's Note

Amfissa (here is the approach from the east) is a city from which extend the olive grove of Amfissa, one of the oldest in Greece, the largest continuous one in the Balkans and dates back 3000 years. It looms over the Delphian landscape, extending from Amfissa to the Corinthian Sea (see WS) and from Eratini to Kirra, covering a space of 55,000 acres with more than 1,100,000 trees. Almost 70% of them are more than 150 years old with deep corrugations and surpassing 10 meters in height.
