Photographer's Note
Everywhere in Prenzlauer Berg, the old grey buildings are slowly getting re-painted. It seems to be an easy way to erase the past in this working class neighborhood, in the east part of the town.
It makes a great result : the area looks like a giant rainbow, very beautiful. Walking there is one of the best thing to do in Berlin.

If pssible I would have taken the picture more frontal from great distance with zoom.

Another shot with an unusual POV. I must say it is very different but effective. The vibrant colour of this building is amazing and a world away from the one in the WS.

Hi Stephane,
A excellent picture to study for a while. Everything is all right but still I tried to look at some other POV. My conclusion for the moment is:
Normaly you are very happy with such a nice lamp-post but here it's to much. To show it on the picture you brings too much sky and that brings disharmony between the marvelous red and the nice sky. That's at least my conclusion. I show in the WS what I mean.

Hi Stéphane, An interesting PoV in taking this picture. I like the strong contrast you have captured of this building with its neighboring building and with the blue sky. Good to see the reflections of the sky on all window glasses in this picture.

Hou là, j'en ai raté quelques unes chez toi ces derniers temps. J'aime bien ta série sur Berlin. C'est une ville que je commence à bien connaître mais que je n'ai encore pas photographié. Ta série donne une bonne image de l'ambiance de la ville, très cosmopolite, où l'on trouve des architectures très variées, beaucoup de couleurs, même dans l'ancien Berlin est où le gris domine quand même encore. Prenzlauer Berg est mon quartier préféré. C'est là où on trouve les jeunes créatifs et bohème. Un genre de Soho. La vie nocturne y est très active, et il y a des places avec des terrasses de cafés sympas.
Cette photo en particulier est bien réussie, avec les couleurs vives, et le jeu des formes géométriques des fenêtres qui reflètent le ciel. Une bonne idée, bien réalisée.

A fabulous red building - it looks really hot! Great contrast against the deep blue sky and enhanced by the blue reflections in the windows. The lamp-post is a good touch to add some extra interest.

Bon soir Stephane, love the straight up angle with the bright orange and the elementary forms and repetition of the windows here. An engaging urban graphism is the result. Very nicely seen & photographed.
