Van Gogh in Prison

This is one of the prison cells in Colditz Castle from the time when it was used as a prisoner-of-war camp for Allied officers during WW2. When I saw this room, the bed and the small chair and table I was immediately reminded of one of Vincent of Gogh’s most famous paintings: Bedroom in Arles (, but I know in which bed I would prefer to sleep.
