Photographer's Note
The FRAUENKIRCHE is a church and landmark in Munich. It serves as the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising and seat of its Archbishop. It is is considered a symbol of the city.
The Frauenkirche was constructed from red brick in the late Gothic style within only 20 years in the 16th century, except for the two domes that were added later.
The building is designed very plainly, without rich Gothic ornaments and its buttresses moved into and hidden in the interior. This gives it a near-modern appearance according to the principle of "less is more".

Hallo Benny,
Ik ben (nog) nooit in München geweest, maar deze tweelingtorens van de kerk met de groene koepels bovenop zijn welbekend. Een mooi gezicht vanuit dit smalle straatje. Het zonlicht was ook heel aangenaam.

Aha! They finally got around to removing the scaffolding which was there in 2014. Now the symmetry is great! Good sharpness and use of the street buildings as a frame. Tfs!

Deze "FRAUENKIRCHE" met beide torens moet inderdaad het uithangbord zijn van deze stad.
U heeft de beide toren mooi in een verticaal beeld getoond.
Alles mooi scherp en aangename kleuren.

Hallo Benny,
Deze foto doet me vermoeden dat het moeilijk moet zijn om in München de Frauenkirche in haar geheel op een foto te krijgen.
Echter niet getreurd. Er zijn andere mogelijkheden om de torens te tonen in een heel interessante compositie.
Heel mooi gedaan!

Indeed, sometimes less is more and you certainly proved it in your image but showing just the towers but in what fantastic architectural surrounding! Love the warm colours contrasting with the blue sky.

I have spent in Munich 3.5 years of my life, it is still my favourite place in Germany.
Great presentation of this famous church. Nice POV from between the houses which add a geometrically interesting frame for the main subject.

This is one of my favorite churches in Germany, and you've presented it wonderfully here. It towers above the other nearby structures, and it's easily identifiable by these iconic towers. Great color and lighting, very sharp and clear.
