Photographer's Note
At first I was just fascinated by the beautiful contrast of the shiny golden statue of August the strong against the clear blue sky. But when I was standing right under it, it almost looked like he could touch the moon with his nose. That is what caused me to take this - not all too serious- picture.

WoW! Very unique perspective and photo! I love the colors here; it's very eye-catching. I might try cropping the sky just a bit, which I think would draw your eye to the moon, which is the focus of the photo here, and I think you could sharpen just a bit, but this is beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Katrin, this one is nice. Can't believe that something can be so golden like the statue. I know once I visited Dresden it was cloudy rainy grey day but this statue was shining with some unexplainable glow. Like how you got the moon in the same frame. Regards, Petar.
