Hello my friends!
Upon entering Hamburg by sea port I saw in the distance this giant wheel. It's the giant wheel of the Dom, the fair more typical of Hamburg! I made a detour and I passed by.
This Ferris wheel was built in 1980 by the firm Steiger.
It is the largest transportable Ferris wheel in the world. It weighs 450 tons and is 60 meters high, higher than all the buildings in Hafencity even Tower Marco Polo with its 55 meters.
Will stay in Hafencity until September 26.
Maybe I can go there to take some pictures of this part of town ...

schöne Nahaufnahme von diesem Riesenrad; ja die Zeit der Jahrmärkte ist gerade angebrochen, auch hier in unserer Region findet zur zeit ein solches Fest statt.. (mehr Bilder davon demnächst hier auf TE..)
