Symmetry in the Hofgarten
This is the Diana Temple in the middle of the Hofgarten (Court Garden) in Munich. The garden was built between 1613-17 by Maximilian I, Elector of Bavaria. It is located between the Munich Residenz and the Bayerische Staatskanzlei (Bavarian State Chancellery).

Goedenavond Lars,
Volgens ik kan inschatten heeft dit pronkstuk een koperen dak.
U heeft uiteraard de juiste ouderwetse hoek gekozen.
Dit geeft als resultaat een mooie symmetrie en een heerlijk panorama beeld.
Zomers in elk geval maar met verdroogde hagen aan beide kanten.
Goed foto werk, bedankt.

Hej Lars,
Titeln är väl vald, miljön är vacker och människorna ger liv och rörelse åt bilden. Det verkar ha varit en fantastiskt fin och varm sommardag, något man bara kan drömma om så här års på den allra kortaste och mörkaste dagen. I Sverige har kylan kommit tillbaka och det sägs kunna bli en vit jul i nästan hela landet.

This is a lovely, symmetrical composition, where you have used the pathway and the converging lines of the hedgerow to create a fine sense of perspective and depth. The couple assist in this respect.
The Diane Temple becomes a very well placed, effective focal point.

Hallo Lars,
Veel bloemen en zomerse kleuren sieren deze foto.
Op de grijze dag die we vandaag hadden, is het heerlijk naar deze foto te kijken.
In België zullen we niet een witte Kerst hebben maar ik hoorde dat het mogelijk wordt in het noordelijk deel van Nederland.
Waar dat deel begint, weet ik niet. Vanaf Bussem verder naar het noorden?

Missed this one. I did not even see the English Gardens in Munich. Too busy at the Museum and doing day trips to Salzburg, Neuschwanstein Castle and Innsbruck. Good perspective, sharpness and symmetrical framing. Tfs!
