Photographer's Note
I have dreamed of an airship flight for years and this summer it finally happened. This is Zeppelin NT airship, which makes sightseeing trips on Bodensee region. Zeppelin NT is a semi-rigid airship. All major components, such as the engines, control cabin and the steering fins, are mounted upon the internal triangular truss structure. Length of the airship is 75 m and height 17.4. It takes 14 passengers and a crew of two.

This must have been an exciting experience, and already from the ground the airship created an eye catching view. Now I'm looking forward to seeing your photos from the flight. It's a very elegant aircraft, and I like the contrasts of light green grass, dark green background and dark grayish sky.

Hello Kari,
I saw several zeppelins near the Bodensee as well. Good photo of this one, it jumps out well from the green and blue background and the yellow letters are particularly eye-catching. Well done.

I've been up in a hot air balloon but not in an airship. This isn't a sight that many of us has seen. How do they load? Good photo.

This looks much more stable than a hot air balloon!
This is a very good starting point, the huge airship hovering above the ground, whilst the figures confirm the massive scale!
The exposure is nice and sharp.
I have a feeling that we be treated to other shots!

Hello Kari,
It does look a bit strange with the relatively small cabin at the bottom of the zeppelin. But I can imagine it was an unforgettable flight.
Does such a zeppelin fly quite fast or not fast at all?
I made a balloon flight once and thought it was very special. But I was surprised at how slow we flew over the landscape.
I then looked forward to what would lie behind the next hill and it seemed endless before we got there. Maybe I had expected too much that it would look like a plane trip, which was not necessary of course.

Some weeks ago I saw this Zeppelin on my Flightradar24 app, when it was flying (click on its icon broght full report about any plane on this app). Never had the chance to see one in real, so here is my compliaments about this opportunity.

Hopefully they no longer use hydrogen like the original Zeppelins of the 1930's. Looks like a more comfortable way to travel than standing in a hot air balloon. Good colour, sharpness and framing. Tfs!
