Remembrance day

Black and white seemed more suitable for this Holocaust remembrance.
To never forget.
Why such horror never happens again.
The Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe, also better known as the Holocaust or Shoah Memorial, is a Berlin monument dedicated to the Jewish victims of the Shoah. It was designed by architect Peter Eisenman, together with engineer Buro Happold. It is located in the Mitte district, one block south of the Brandenburg Gate.
A square of 19,000 square meters is occupied by 2,771 concrete blocks, all 2.375 m wide and 95 cm long, while the height is very variable, from 0.2 to 4 meters, organized according to an orthogonal grid.
