Potsdamer Platz at Night

With this photo Germany becomes the fifth country in my gallery to reach 100 photos. I started my series of Berlin with a photo of Potsdamer Platz and here’s another photo of the same square, which will be my last photo from Berlin for now, as it’s time to go on to the next city.

Potsdamer Platz is an important public square and intersection of the heart of the city. The square was destroyed in WW2 and never rebuilt during the Cold War, when it was bisected by the Berlin Wall, only to be redeveloped in the past three decades after the fall of the Wall. The two buildings in the background are the Beisheim Centre and the foreground features the entrance to the Potsdamer Platz Railway Station.
