Sony Center

A week ago I posted a photo of a reflections of the large roof of the Sony Center in Berlin and my father has recently also posted some impressions of this modern complex of buildings. Here’s a photo of the large roof structure, captured in the early evening.

Sony Center, located near Potsdamer Platz, is a complex of seven different buildings around a central forum, which is covered by a large glass roof. Apart from Sony’s German headquarters, the buildings house shops, restaurants, a conference centre and other mainly entertainment facilities. The complex was designed by Helmut Jahn and opened in 2000.
