Photographer's Note

Two men while away the time in the St-Paul area of Paris, as others tuck into their lunches in one of the many restaurants along Rue St-Antoine. I can't remember if they are standing in Rue St-Paul or some other of the narrow streets running south from Rue St-Antoine, but it's not far from St-Paul Metro station and close to the Village St-Paul. This stretch of the Rue St-Antoine is teeming with cafés, restaurants, bakeries, cheese and cake shops, chocolatiers and traiteurs (cooked take-away food shops).
