like a walking on a chess platform and with the heavy steps he is trying to reach his destination.. it makes me think like that at a first sight.. love the composition and colors,

good idea for a cool graphic result. The overall picture is a little dark though. Wish the man stood out a little more against the background.

good visual impact given by diagonally placed patterns
and the pair of legs living the area. Metaphorically
speaking, it might suggest moving from known to (less)
unknown world, or justa change of mood? Could be as well
finding a way out of a vicious circle...
