Photographer's Note

When I was looking through TE the other day, I found someone's comment on one of the photos (not mine), that he is becoming tired of photos with one lonely tree. Therefore for all you that are tired of one lonely tree, I'm posting photo of two lonely trees and hope you find it more interesting :-) (I have to say that I am not tired of it yet and there might be coming some one lonely tree pictures in the near future)

When going to Provence I had lonely standing tree in field of lavender on my mind, however I was not that lucky nearly till the end. This photo however works even better for me as I really like those few green lines that have been already harvested. It nicely creates interesting graphical element.

And for those of you that are curious how is such a picture captured I post into workshop full landscape version. It was taken from the road that was climbing up to opposite hill. This actual picture was taken probably 100m further from the spot I've taken photo in workshop.

That full landscape shot is bit too "busy" for me and has too much information. I always look for simpler composition that in my opinion has stronger impact.
