Do you remember ?
Starring Roy Thinnes as architect David Vincent.
The Invaders - Alien beings from a dying planet.
Their destination : The Earth.
Their purpose : To make it their world.
David Vincent has seen them.
For him it began one lost night on a lonely country road, looking for a short-cut that he never found.
It began with a closed deserted diner ...
... and a man too long without sleep to continue his journey.
It began with the landing of a craft from another galaxy.
Now, David Vincent knows that the Invaders are here...
...that they have taken human form.
Somehow he must convince a disbelieving world that the nightmare has already begun.

About the serie :
The Invaders is a 60's science fiction series which originally ran for two seasons. The first episode was aired January 10th 1967 and the last, March 26th 1968.
The Invaders is very much a period piece, and reflects the public concerns of the time: Unlike Star Trek, which ran concurrently with it, the Invaders is set in the present.
The Invaders draws influence both from America's first missions into space which made ordinary people think about the possibility of contact with life from other planets, and also from the paranoia of 'Reds under the Beds' brought on at the height of the Cold War.
The Invaders revolves around the character of David Vincent (played by Roy Thinnes), who has discovered that the Earth is being invaded by beings from another planet. These beings have taken human form, and are virtually undetectable from human beings.

The picture has been taken inside the station François Mitterand line n°14. I don't know why but something in that architecture reminded me the serie...

Great shot! Love the composition and its cold, futuristic feel and details. BW is perfect choice. The 3 light spots and the contour around them in the center look like an alien face, which adds to the effect.
Congratulations!

C'est vrai qu'à cette heure là, une station de métro peut facilement passer pour une station orbitable de l'Empire qui ne contre attaque pas encore !
Une très belle photo avec un superbe pp

Hi Carlos, amazing shot, with a great mysterious mood and good link with the title and the note.
the PP work on the saturation and on the tones is well managed and the result is amazing.

C'est vrai qu'a cette heure on doit avoir plus de chance d'avoir une station vide !
Mais le n&b est excelent. On a l'impression d'un montage tellement la symétrie est proche.

Salut Carlos
Oui, je me souviens bien de David Vincent... ;-)
C'est très bien vu, le filtre que tu as appliqué (et l'absence de voyageurs) donnent bien à cette scène des allures de science-fiction.
Une toute petite critique : dommage, le détritus à côté du cylindre, au centre.
