Super Dévoluy es una de las mejores estaciones de esquí de los Alpes del Sur franceses, con un terreno magnífico y unas instalaciones adecuadas. El dominio esquiable es una sola montaña con dos caras, Super Dévoluy por un lado La Joue du Loup por el otro, conectados ambos por pista en altitud. El terreno es básicamente abierto sin árboles excepto unos pocos en la parte inferior de las estaciones.
El pueblo: La estación de Super Dévoluy no es realmente un pueblo sino un bloque de apartamentos que acoge en un sólo edificio todos los apartamentos y en sus galerías comerciales todos los comercios y servicios de la estación. De hecho con los años se han construido otros edificios y chalets en los lados pero casi ni se ven. La vida pues se desarrolla en el interior del gran edificio mientras uno no está esquiando. Dicho esto, conviene valorar, especialmente si se viaja con niños pequeños la ventaja que supone tenerlo todo cerca (escuela de esquí, tiendas, restaurantes, material,...), esquiar hasta/desde la puerta, etc.
La foto está tomada desde la terraza del apartamento del piso 20 de uno de esos edificios a pie de pistas, y orientada hacia el sudeste, y se pueden ver las pistas de esquí cubiertas de nieve, y delante, el Pic de Bure.

Super Dévoluy is one of the best ski resorts of the French Alps of the South, with a magnificent area and a few suitable facilities. The skiing area is an alone mountain with two faces, Super Dévoluy on the one hand The Joue du Loup for other one, connected both for track in altitude. The area is basically opened without trees except some few ones in the low part of the stations.
The village: Super Dévoluy's station is not really a village but a block of apartments who in this building receives in one only all the apartments and in his shopping centers all the trades and services of the station. In fact with the years other buildings have been constructed and chalets in the sides but almost are not even seen. The life since it develops inside the great building while one is not skiing. Saying this, it suits to value, specially if one travels with small children the advantage that supposes having everything surrounds (school of ski, shops, restaurants, material...), to ski up to / from the door, etc.
The photo is taken from the terrace of the apartment of the floor 20 of one of these buildings afoot of tracks, and orientated towards the southeast, and there can be seen the tracks of ski covered of snow, and ahead, the Pic de Bure.
