Photographer's Note
My friend closing in on one of the small uninhabited islands of the outer reef of the French island of Wallis in the Pacific ocean.
I did not crop the pic at all even if cropping a bit of the sky would create a more dynamic pic.
Reason is that I prefer to adjust color/brightness according to the original slides and then sharpen the image, but keep the image itself as I took it.

Very colourful picture, Marcus. But (to my opinion) I think you maybe should not have sharpened it ? Or did you sharpen only parts of the picture ? It's like the trees are not sharpened. Still a good picture.

I like this image a lot, the colors are wonderful and it makes me want to go swimming in this clear water. I like the point of view, were you in the sea ?

You are right, Marcus! I think the same when the subject is one of my travels. One thing is photography, another one are your remembers. But, it´s work better when the place is a paradise like you show us here. This is a wonderful place, and you did a good job with this picture, so natural, so beautiful without too many help. Blues and greens are nice, contrast and light also. Your POV and DOF works well framing part of island, part of sea and part of sky, and of course that the boat gives some life to the image, and a nice pretty clear reflect! Well done! TFS!

Hi Marcus, sorry for the portuguese words, only that to represent my feelings about your photo, very peaceful and pretty place, very well captured by you. The colors are fantastic (good use of polarizer). The ship gave a tone of lost island like in the imperialims era.

Hi Marcus,
I really like how Fuji Sensia 100 captures the colors so well. I've been using Velvia 50 ISO and sometimes the colors are a bit too saturated. The greens are incredible as are the blues in the water. The sky couldn't be better! Good work,

c'est l'exacte idée qu'on se fait du paradis,non?La composition de la photo est excellente avec juste ce petit morceau de verdure sur la gauche,et le beau voilier blanc sur la droite,la plus grande part de la photo laissant la place à tout ce bleu!La transparence de l'eau est magnifiquement rendue!bref,c'est une splendeur!
