Photographer's Note
I continue my series of photos of the same place taken in autumn and winter. Here, a trail in the Nordic area of the Val d'Azun, in winter for cross-country skiing and during other seasons as here in autumn, the trail provides access to the ridges and Lake Soum, for example, that that I featured in my previous posts.

Another great one in this twin photos in different seasons series. Both are great photos, especially the cross country skier one, but also the good autumn colour in the top one.

Hello Jean,
The colours were nicer in autumn and we see more details of the scenery when they're not hidden by snow. But the winter view is a more exciting photo because you timed it to include the skier in the foreground. It's another entertaining double view from the same place.

Hello Jean,
This took a lot of forethought, on your part, for your duo of photographs are very accurate in their common locations.
Each has details which clearly reveal the differences in seasons.
I like the warmth of the colours on the autumn scene, whilst the details of the mountain, shown by the light and shadows on the snow covered surfaces, is remarkable.

fantastic comparison of this beautiful scenery in two seasons again. The difference is amazing! Having the skier captured in a dynamic pose decorates the view nicely.
Both autumnal and winter colors are so attractive, each having their advantages. Now you definitely have to go there in spring and summer!

Tu as bien capturé l'action du skieur. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des montagnes en automne et en hiver. La lumière met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

in some aspects the photo of the winter in more beautiful, in special because the personage and the minimalism caused by the snow. anyway it is beautiful during warm days too. nice views.

Hello Jean,
I like how you posted two photos from different time of the year. I think that you have favorite places which you like to visit year around.
The autumn panorama of beautiful colors and a bit of snow on the peaks looks great. However, the winter view looks completely different but it is a popular place for cross-country skiers.
