Bonjour Gildas,

You are right about the light.
Your photograph has the qualities of a painting.
The chateau is perfectly placed, whilst the rocky f/g, with its rich, earthy colours, leads irresistibly to this beckoning focal point.

Au lieu de t'intéresser au soeil couchant, tu as regardé derrière l'effet qu'il produisait sur la villa de granit qui surplombe les flots: une belle coloration orange qui rend bien l'atmosphère du moment

Bonjour Gildas. C'est vrai la lumière change tout le temps et ici tu a choisi un bon moment. J'aime bien comment le soleil bas donne cet atmosphère. Bien composé avec le château à l'extrème gauche de la photo.

Bonjour Gildas,

Comme quoi il faut savoir tourner le dos à un coucher de soleil en certaines circonstances.Cette composition est merveilleuse avec ce château bien placé dans l'image qui captent bien les derniers rayons du soleil.

Photograpby is all about capturing the best lighting conditions! And you for sure have a golden amber glow with this one.
I also like how the scene climbs up the frame, making us see every area carefully until we reach the main focal point.

Hello Gildas

I think you've posted another image from this location recently. The previous one included cottages almost hidden in a declivity beyond the rocks, almost as if they were being buried or swallowed. But this is perhaps starker, as it shows only the one, apparently lonely, house right on the edge of the world. The light warms the scene, but it retains a remote and desolate atmosphere: it will soon be dark!

En effet, le même lieu peut-être différent selon la lumière.
Ici les teintes chaudes du premier plan contrastent superbement avec la tonalité de gris à l'arrière. Le château est bien situé dans la composition. Magnifique photo, j'aime beaucoup.

the light is magnificent, not only for its fine warmth and the wonderful, soothing colours it creates, but also for the subtle way in which it touches the rugged shore and the castle. You captured all these effects very skillfully. Your composition that gives so much space to the rocks and shows the castle in the distant background, is rewarding and intriguing. The grey tones set great contrast and enrich the atmosphere. I live on an island, very close to the sea, so I can confirm what you mention in your note about the constantly shifting light and colours:) Congratulations and thank you!
