Photographer's Note
Although a bit “touristy” due to its historical nature, many locals still frequent Place des Vosges for the simple beauty and charm of the park and surrounding architecture. I was lucky enough to get this shot just minutes before an absolute downpour of rain that drove everyone away in an instant. I almost didn’t make it out myself, as I was trying to protect my equipment before it rolled through…made it out with literally seconds to spare!

Good morning, Jason,my neighbour today,
Are you an early bird? Yes, sometime we need for rest after long walking trips around these interesting old cities and towns.
Do you remember "Restless Nights"? - "Big time in Paris Time's gonna fly. Big time in Paris. It's c'est la vie for me tonight." )))
Best wishes,
Serghei
THANX!

I'd do this without the banch, Jason, although it doe's scale and add depth to the scene - but the beautiful fountain on green grass area and the houses in far side, are the main attraction here.
All the students on the park area gave a vivid extra tone to the whole.
Regards,
Ike
