Photographer's Note
Balloon Festival Olivet town near Orleans.
Take off of 45 balloons.
Among the balloons there are two majestic giants of the air. The first of 2,600 m3 and 3,000 m3 for the second. On board, a pilot and a copilot.
The aim of the competition is to fly and land a few kilometers in one place, but before, a bag of sand will be dumped in a marked place on the field.

L'assemblage des trois photos est réussi. La prise de vue permet de distinguer les détails et les couleurs des montgolfières. La lumière du début de soirée embellie les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Hello Didi,
Tu as loupé La Ferté Allais mais tu as eu ce rassemblement de montgolfières à Olivet que moi j'ai loupé !
je trouve ce genre de rassemblement toujours plein d'intérêt et formidable sur le plan photographique tant ces ballons et leurs couleurs sont photogéniques et font un peu rêver.
Bravo pour ta prise qui jette tout son jus dans la version large.
Tu as bien joué au ballons, bel assemblage réussi.

A very impressive shot (or stitch of three) of these wonderfully colourful balloons.
Your "stitch" is absolutely perfect despite the fact that the higher ballons must have been moving, the colours are wonderfully vibrant and the exposure and sharpness are stunning, even in the larger version.

Lovely slim cropped very well composed shot with a dramatic view of baloons in dense rich colours filling the frame that add life to the whole image. Wonderful saturation, superb brightness and exposure is spot on as you manage to minimize the glare and capture many shades. But the range of colours is just superb with no boring bits. Hi Didi,
You're capturing well this colorful balloons by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the balloons with the dignoral line in front side and a range of balloons in behind. The entire color is harmonized and balanced well by green lawn, balloons and blue sky. And, the shadow projected to the lawn draws out an additional good atmosphere.

I like the point of view and composition
very much, because you see as viewer a
lots of diagonal lines (the balloons, the
grass and shadows)in the picture and
that creates a lots of depth.
The crop up and/or below makes the
picture extra wide (like a panorama).
Light management is also great.
