Photographer's Note

A peculiar sight of Bonifacio seen from the foot path which leads to the lighthouse of Pertusato. The Mediterranean bush hide the view of the high cliff on which the town lies and that of its harbour below, so that it gives the illusion of it emerging from the green bushes. It’s a sight which I like, even if it’s not present the element I love best: the sea, which surrounds Bonifacio, but that actually shows the lovely wild area we find inland for many km and to which is due part of the charm of this town. And this explains the title I choose taken from a famous American film.
