Photographer's Note

The Canal de la Robine, photo taken from the Mandirac's Lock. This peaceful place is part of the city of Narbonne away from the noisy down town
The towpath used by cyclists can ride up to Port la Nouvelle via the island of Ste Lucie.
The Canal de la Robine is a former passage of the river Aude Narbonne in the same name department. This is a side branch to the Canal du Midi which is administratively attached.
The canal is classified on the World Heritage List by UNESCO.
In 2004 I traveled by barge from Port la Nouvelle to Narbonne.
