Photographer's Note
During Paris-Plages, this summer ... A street artist.
Another photo of him in the worshop.
Paris-Plages had been created by the Mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoe in 2002.
Artificial beaches in summer on 2 places in Paris. Here, in the center on the banks of the Seine. The other beach is located on the Canal de l'Ourcq, in the 10th and 19th districts.
This event had been created for people who can't go on holidays.

Hello Frederic!
Well, i'm not that interested in what he is doing there, but in the really high quality of this picture. Great colors, perfect sharpness and very well done exclusion of the BG.
Have a great week

well, more than a title it sounds like an order - or a threat :)
jokes aside, I quite like the moment you have frozen here - the artist makes whatever he is doing look so easy and natural, with his arm and his hands in such an elegant gesture...
his eyes and nose are still visible, and that adds to the photo I believe.

Bonjour Frederic,
Strong shot, especially after having clicked on the WS to really "get the picture". Apart from the sensational topic, what I really like so much here is the perfect balance of light, especially on the man's skin and T-shirt. Also the way he holds his hands is really interesting (one of those details you'd notice only later). Perfect blurred background too.
Also interesting to see how this shot seems to complement NinaL's contribution today. A two-pronged invasion of quality street shots!
You get my thumbs up!

well... initially when seeing this as a thumbnail i thought "let's talk to fred to have something challenging, something really worth his and my afford" but hey, this is just great - a plain study on DOF.... delicious work... anyway - i'm just thinking about a kind of a game - let's run a small "project" every weekend and do the work on the subject (with few trusty people) and then - post it on TE and evaluate the results... let us be back to the old good days of TE and have some real fun with our photography... what you think, fred?... jasmis, ninaL, papera, rigoletto, bennyV, juzo, CLODO... few others?... you name it....
let's have - finally - some fun with the TE....!!!!
