Photographer's Note
This weekend we celebrated the 27th European Heritage Days. For the occasion, I chose to visit a chapel that I have presented:
San Quilicu
We just finished restoring the frescoes of the choir dating from the 16th sc. The characters are full of sweets. At the center of the apse, the Trinity. God Father is represented as a humble old man with white beard.
Above his head, the dove comes out of the Oval mandorla to dump on him the Holy Spirit. The mandorla is an unusual kind, it is made of checkered highlighting the vault of the apse.
The owner of Cosmos to his right: The sun, and left: The moon.
At his feet, his son cross.
On each side, two angels are full of sweetness. The evangelists are represented by the eagle (St John), bull (St Matthew), lion (St Mark) and the angel (Luke).
Below, hidden behind the altar of a later addition, the Virgin and child, only ten apostles. The latter two have not seen their head because they are covered by Colonet support on the sides of the apse.
On the left, St Michael weighs souls and we can see the little devils at his feet. Right, Ste Juliette, the mother of San Quilicu. At the top of the vault, the city of Jerusalem.

Bonjour Marie,
Une belle présentation pour une image difficile a réaliser, tu t'en sors très bien Marie.
Une image qui a passer bien de époques, mais les couleurs restent encore bien vives.
J'espère que tout va comme tu le souhaites et encore mieux.
Excellente semaine, bizzz
Amitiés Marlyse ;-))
