Photographer's Note
Paris-Plages again, on the banks of the Seine. Information about Paris-Plages on the note of the photo called "Dancer in the Dark". Here is another photo of the same dancer.
I already know that some will find the photo is an accident and not photography . But no : ) This is what I wanted, back to my experiments. So, sorry for the ones who don't like this kind of photography ... But it is photography, some great photographers members of Magnum have done some in this kind, like D'Agata for example.

Frederic,
Accident or design? For me, this is not the important question. Even setting one's camera off completely at random may yield good results, but one still needs to make a judgement, an artistic judgement, as to which results are cohesive and which are not. This is a skill in itself. It's why good abstract painting cannot be duplicated by "anyone" simply throwing some paint about.
This works well, in itself and with the title - again you make a judgement here. True, I wouldn't want a gallery full of such devices and nothing else, but that's not what you are offering here.
My regards
Colin

unstability and a blurred vision of life...
fred, i see more of you in here, compared to pin sharp details of unknown strangers. the blurrier you go, the more you move some of your admirers.

Hello Fred.
strange or not, lack of comments on this one, but I really like it. It's fluid, it makes us think/dream about it, and it represents all about dance... movement, so why should you freeze the scene, instead of making it fluid?
I encourage you to go on with it, and I know it's not an accident as you surelly passed already this phase, only someone who's not aware at all of your works and taste would say that it's a lucky shot you decided to post.
Cheers.

I prefer this to the previous running boy and even to some sharp images from your gallery, Frederic :). It has mystery, it has tension, it transmits.
Love how the light outlines the character's body, and the blur is so nicely done.
It really works for me!
Thanks.

Hey Fred, comeon you neednt mentioned all that in the note, with you this is not an accident, you know that :) - but i have always found d'agata's work on the twisted drama wrapped in a sexual enigma exhilarating..the overtones are so dominant and his use of "body part" so strong..so abstract..
think you need a room with just one subject..i will be at the door waiting for the photos

You can imagine yourself everything looking at the photo ...
And it is not important how was it created. The important think is ... the result ...
Great, Frederic,
Cheers,
Mirek
