Blue afternoon at the Val-Andre beach, on an autumn day, the last tourists in town...
Val-Andre is one of the communities of Pleneuf-Val-Andre municipality. A truly vacation town which flourished during the belle-époque in the 1920's when two to three luxurious store houses were built along its large side-walks along the coast line. The British and French bourgeoisie flocked to town during the summer days to play at the casino and enjoy the beach pleasures. The glamorous days may be gone, but the town still keep its old charm.

The reflection on the water really creates the effect mentioned in the title. I like how you've included just a bit of land on the right...creates some more depth and the yellow thing on the beach creates a nice contrast with regards to the overall color scheme. Its yellow tone really stands out against the blue backdrop.

A peaceful and silent image. And what an impressive sky !
The vertical format is a good choice to enhance the immensity of this seascape and to include this marvelous reflection of the clouds.
The two walkers add life to the scene, and the yellow buoy is very attractive, well seen.
Very pleasant composition.

Endless sky or endless beach i might say...i noticed the reflections in the wet sand...amazing, ususally the relections that i've seen were, u know, on water...very nice!

Hi Flavia,
Of course I like the reflection and the yellow buoy in the foreground. I feel though it should have more importance in the picture, as an 'eye-catcher'. Same goes for the people in the background IMHO...they are too small to be noticed. Still, the result is fine.

Olá Flávia,
é uma imagem de um minimalismo um tanto cativante. O baixo ponto de vista, conciliado a captura vertical e a linha do horizonte centralizada, é que faz essa composição. Há dois mais elementos que são a cereja aqui: o reflexo do céu sobre a molhada areia e a laranja que fica como um ótimo ponto focal. Beleza de foto!

This is a very fine image and you have made good use of the reflection here. The reflection adds nice depth and balance to the shot while the yellow ball breaks up the symmetry. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail.

such a pleasant and beautiful shot. The perspective is well driven by the lines of the beach. the placement of the yellow subject is indeed a worthy thought. the dramatic clouds and soft blue sky give a captivating effect.

excellent composition with a great atmosphere of the sea. The colors are at the same time bright and moody. The light is also amazing. Most of all I like the reflections of the clouds. The people and the buoy are the icing on the cake. TFS!
