Photographer's Note
Terre-Nègre is the name of this very pretty little lighthouse (26 meters high) with its little house which was the keeper's house. Located on the edge of the Gironde estuary, it informed boats of the presence of sand banks hindering navigation.
With this very sunny weather, it was perfect to highlight the hues of the column and the surrounding vegetation.

Bonjour Jean, a very plain lighthouse, and from this viewpoint it looks quite a tall one, although you suggest that it is small.
The building below looks immaculate with its bright green shutters.
I like the inclusion of the foliage to frame the scene.

Hello Jean,
A great photo of this lighthouse in front of the perfectly blue sky. The red top stands out so well, just as the green shutters of the building. I also like the inclusion of the green leaves in the bottom right hand corner and the top left hand corner.

Jean, that lighthouse signals the sand bars to the boats and ships navigating offshore. The reefs must not be numerous in that area. The vegetation is well included and the keeper's house has a nice painting. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

The name does not suit this colorful and cheerful lighthouse, with a beautiful color, along with the adjacent house, splendid blue sky.
