Long time ago, the wind a such an artist of talent created interesting abstract or real forms on this very hard rock.

Following the comment of the preceding picture , the name of Ploumanach underwent several modifications during the centuries and one could believe, by his first syllable “plou” which it was a whole parish before
It is actually about a deformation of Poul-Manach, meaning the Marsh of the monk.
Poulmanach belongs to a whole of communes which constitutes Peros-Guirec.
According to the legend, Guirec, a Welsh monk who came in the 5th century in a granite trough in order to found a community there.
