Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Please click here to see the larger, clearer Beta photograph.

My photograph today shows a family of bikers looking out over the River Odet. They were obviously enjoying the view for there was a lot of activity in the way of pleasure boats, cruisers and paddle boarders.

With the weather so hot, the idea of enjoying the scenery must have seemed so much better than cycling!

It could have been that they were waiting to take the short ferry trip across the river to Benodet, though they weren't on the boat when we crossed!

In the background you can see a lighthouse. Curiously, there are two lighthouses not far apart on that stretch of coastline. It is called The Lighthouse of the Pyramid because it is built where there used to be a wooden pyramid, a guide to boats returning from sea.

Have a lovely day, Bev :-)
