Photographer's Note

This photograph was taken when we were on holiday in southern Brittany last summer.

The church in the distance is that of the small town of Billiers.

This large area of marshy land with its weathered lichen clad fence posts is very attractive to photograph, but has the downside of producing hordes of mosquitoes which come to bite in the night.

The focus here has settled on the posts, leaving the distant town and church a little blurred. If I were to take the shot again, I think I would have used a smaller aperture to avoid this.

Taken as JPEG: PP in FastStone and PhotoShop 7.
