Photographer's Note

This photo was taken west of Mont Blancs summit (4807m) from the ski resort of St. Gervais. The cloud which was steadily forming over the top of Mont Blanc meant that unsettled weather was on its way, or so the elderly lady in the gondola told us. I love this kind of thing.'Yep, that cloud up there, means it's gonna be bad weather tomorrow'... and it was. Snowed all day! :) So I took the photographic opportunity. I have always loved looking at mountains, especially the highest ones and Mont Blanc has been in my sights for 15 years since I first visited the Alps. I hope to climb it this summer... maybe some more interesting shots to follow, maybe I'll be in that cloud!
